Back in the forest for two mre pages and the it’s off to a complicated coffee shop. That should be a nice change of pace.
Sorry for the wait on this one. I think I put too much thought into this one.
The layout is supposed to represent the bustling in the forest while Eliot is deep in thought, kicking coals around in what used to be the fire. It was damn near perfect before I added color, but I saved as best as I could.
I’m getting ready to move back to Portland in a few days. Still don’t have a place to stay yet, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out.
See you soon.

You’re stories have always been solid, and your art just keeps getting better, my only question is when can we get more? I understand that life is what happens while you’re making other plans, just if you could let us know when, that’d be great. thanks, and keep up the good work!
I do apologize. I just uplouded the new page along with a bit of an explanation why I’ve been out for so long.
Has RL been kickin ur butt recently?
Yeah it totally has. But things have started to clear up and I tihnk I should be able to get the next page done tomorrow. The attached blog will most likely include a large sized apology.
It’s understood that life will occasionally decide to sucker punch you and steal your lunch money like a grade school bully. Besides ur comic is too awesome for me not to check in on at least every other day to drop a vote if n lurk the comments.
Well thanks. That means a lot
Excellent work on this page. The spooky atmosphere and mood are palpable, and the shift back to primarily greys after so many color-dominated pages coincides nicely with the change in pace now that things are “wrapping up.”
As a side note, I’m really curious what he found there.
Thanks for the comment, Rich.
Glad you’re diggin’ it.
You gettin any closer to having a permanent place to stay?
yeah we just got approved for this place so hopefully we’ll be able to move in soon.
He smokes? when did this happen? 0.o Isn’t he like, 16?
Also, I agree with everyone else! Your artistic ability has been improving in leaps and bounds! Love this page!
Cigarettes make you look more badass when you have those expressions on your face.
Actually, he’s 18, but he’s smoked since he was 16. He and Evelyn are in their senior year.
Thanks for reading Blonka!
How in the world do you keep on getting better. You are seriously shredding the charts and graphs in terms of artvancement. I thought your other art was great but this is simply amazing. Freaking Amazing!!!!
Aw shucks. Thanks marduk.
omg i know you said it was better without color but i adore this page color and all the lighting is amazing XD
Well I do my best.
Thanks so much for reading!
This might be your best page yet. Just a fantastic job done. So looking forward to the future of this comic and your art.
There is truthiness in this statement.
well I’m looking forward to your continued readership. =]
This page is a work of art, that simple and easy, everything you could want from a page, beautiful art, excellent pacing, Intrege, Answers (What will happen to the girls), more beautiful art, and Suspense.
Keep up the good work i beg of you!
Daw I’m blushing.
Thanks a lot Gabrie-bob.
I think this may be my favorite page yet! That cigarette looks fantastic. And I definitely want to know what that blue thing in the fire is!
Ahh and I want to tell you what the blue thing is, but, sadly it is a mystery.
Thanks for reading, Fairy.
If adding color downgraded this the origional must be damn impressive. Great job! especially that last panel. Part of me wants the next line to be ‘Quick, Evelyn. The game’s afoot!”
haha
Thanks Nhobdy.
There’s a blue thing!
Also, being able to suspend people from using magic could be useful in various situations.
Useful indeed!
He looks like a total badass in this one.
Heh yeah it’s pretty neat.
Oh my, this is probably the first time in ages I’ve commented on anything not on forums… Well, here goes-
Nice page! The lighting is fantastic. Also Elliot’s expressions are really nice. Especially the last panel. A bit of surprise aswell as Elliot’s badass determination as always. Keep up the fantastic work, it’s really fun to see how your skills develop with each page!
Well thanks. That means a lot.
